On Wednesday, the social audio app Clubhouse announced that Sean Brown will lead its sports partnerships efforts, the latest addition to its leadership team.

Most recently, Brown was a senior marketing director at Wasserman, a sports marketing agency, and previously worked at Nike on its Air Jordan brand.

“I’m grateful to create with such a dynamic global group,” Brown said in a LinkedIn post announcing the news. “Sports and the culture surrounding it [are] inspiring, competitive, empowering, fun and thought-provoking, which is everything Clubhouse represents.”

Clubhouse amassed 10 million monthly users

Brown joined Clubhouse as a user in August through an invite from Fadia Kader, then running music partnerships at Instagram.
