Audio chat application Clubhouse introduced Backchannel, a feature that allows users to send and receive direct messages to and from other users without leaving the app.
The Backchannel feature supports one-on-one and group conversations, and it also allows users to receive message requests from other Clubhouse users. Here’s how to use the Backchannel feature in the Clubhouse app.

On the Clubhouse home screen, tap the paper airplane icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to go to your Backchannel inbox.
