Clubhouse Begins Testing a Wave Bar Feature

Friends are invited to social rooms, but there is an option to lock those rooms and make them private

Social audio application Clubhouse began testing Wave Bar, a new feature that enables users in its hallway area to see friends who are online and invite them to social rooms, which can be joined by friends of friends.

Speakers in those social rooms spawned by Waves can ping in friends, and a new ping at the top of those rooms makes that process easy.

Clubhouse also added a lock room button in cases where people decide to keep their room private, rather than letting it remain a social room.
