Facebook chief revenue officer David Fischer is leaving the company after 11 years, but will stay in his role until later in 2021.

Fischer is responsible for the social network’s advertising business, overseeing its sales and marketing teams worldwide.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday morning, he said that his next steps will be to spend time with family and friends and do some traveling once pandemic restrictions are eased before thinking about his next challenge.

“I’m especially appreciative for the opportunity to support hundreds of millions of businesses around the world and help spur economic growth and job creation—through some very turbulent times, including this past year of the pandemic,” reads the statement.
