(Press Release) New York, New York – July 25, 2011— Barnes & Noble, Inc., the world’s largest bookseller, announced that in the coming days NOOK for iPad customers will be able to access one of the largest selections of digital periodicals including more than 175 full-color, interactive magazines and leading newspapers. NOOK Kids for iPad app users can access more than 550 engaging, interactive children’s picture books through that newly updated app. All NOOK iPad, iPhone and iPod touch customers can continue to enjoy their Barnes & Noble digital libraries through the newly updated free reading applications.

NOOK for iPad will soon be updated to offer the innovative, interactive magazine experience first available on the award-winning NOOK Color.
