More than a year after it first welcomed iPhone users, Clubhouse is finally coming to Android.

The live audio app, which has gained popularity and forced industry-wide movement in the social media space, has not been able to maintain its user growth this spring after a meteoric rise during the first few months of 2021.

Part of that stagnation stems from the invite-only nature of the app, but its exclusivity to iOS devices has also been a major barrier.

Clubhouse’s co-founders Paul Davison and Rohan Seth announced at a town hall with users on Sunday that their app is finally coming to Android users in the United States starting today.
