All Instagrammers Can Now Hide Like Counts on Feed Posts, Their Own Content

The options will be added for Facebook in the coming weeks

Instagram began experimenting with hiding like counts as early as April 2019, drawing mixed reactions, and Facebook followed suit later that year, as well.

Testing ramped up again in April, and the social network was apparently happy with the results of those tests, as it said Wednesday that the ability to hide like counts on all posts in a user’s feed, as well as on their own posts, is now available to everyone on Instagram, with Facebook to be added in the coming weeks.
