On Monday evening, Oct. 4, four publishing executives left their permanent marks on the industry by being inducted into the Publishing Executive Hall of Fame, the industry’s most prestigious award for book and magazine operations, manufacturing and production executives, produced by Publishing Executive and Book Business magazines.

Bill Amstutz, director of publishing operations and strategic planning for NewBay Media; Ken Brooks, senior vice president, global production and manufacturing services for Cengage Learning; and Michael Lonier, chief information officer and vice president of Operations, The Deal LLC, were this year’s inductees, recognized for their significant achievements in and contributions to the industry, at the Gold Ink Awards/Hall of Fame Banquet at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom.
