Where to follow Apple Tablet announcement

By Cory Bergman

With no live video allowed, live-blogging and Twitter are the coverage tools of choice for today’s 10 a.m. PST Apple press conference. Our favorites places to track minute-by-minute coverage are Engadget (live here) and Gizmodo (live here), two sites that have mastered the art and science of live-blogging an event. Even the New York Times is live-blogging it here, and SFGate.com is using Cover It Live here.

We’ll see how long this lasts, but Justin.tv is carrying live video from a phone inside the event. There’s another live stream from an iPhone here.

Twitter, of course, is already on fire (Apple and tablet terms already dominate trending topics), and we wouldn’t be surprised if Twitter went down during the big announcement.
