According to Nielsen streaming content data for the week of April 18, Better Call Saul on Netflix was the most-streamed program with 821 million viewing minutes, which coincided with the Season 6 premiere on AMC. Breaking Bad also landed on the Top 10 Streaming Acquired Programs list with 310 million minutes viewed.
Moon Knight continues to be a consistent performer for Disney+ pulling in 630 million minutes. Of interest, it is the most male-skewed across all that titles at 60%, with the highest concentration of viewing from Asian households (9%).
Bridgerton moved back into the No.1 spot on the Top 10 Streaming Original Programs list with 734 million minutes viewed, followed by the legal thriller Anatomy of a Scandal with 690 million minutes and in third place the Netflix docu-series The John Wayne Gacy Tapes with 684 million minutes. The Ultimatum, which finished No. 1 for the week of April 11, fell to No. 5. Netflix’s five-part docuseries Our Great National Parks, narrated by former President Barack Obama, earns a spot in the top 10 streaming originals at No. 10.
All 10 of the top 10 acquired programs for the week are from Netflix.
On the film side, the Disney+ animated film Encanto continues to attract the masses and earned the top spot for the week of April 18 with 444 million minutes viewed. Fellow Disney+ offering Turning Red came in second with 378 million minutes and in third place White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch with 294 million minutes viewed on Netflix.
