Web Producer – NewsChannel5.com
NewsChannel 5.com has an immediate opening for a Web Producer. This producer will be responsible for writing, editing and producing multimedia and interactive content for Nashville’s #1 TV station web site. Applicant needs a minimum one (1) year experience in an Internet news or content environment. Basic knowledge of Internet technologies including HTML, javascript, Flash, and CSS. Experience with web authoring/content management tools, imaging programs such as Photoshop and experience with video or other multimedia. Working knowledge of analog and/or digital video as well as video and/or audio production preferred. Understanding of current issues and events, both local and national. Accomplished writing and editing skills, including a knowledge of Associated Press style, grammar and spelling. Good organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to work as needed within station hours of operation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. College degree preferred.
