Web producer is needed for the award-winning 1010WINS.com 24-hour New
York City all-news Web site. Duties include, but are not limited to:
producing hourly news material for the Web site, including story
selection, coordinating stories with station editors, writing,
copyediting, headline writing, audio, video and still photo
selection; creative ideas and managing user-generated content. Web
producer will cover a daily shift and breaking news as needed.
Qualifications: college degree preferred. Experience in print or with
other online news Web sites is required. A good working knowledge of
Photoshop, video editing tools, basic HTML and Web content management
systems is helpful. Applicants must be strong writers and be willing
to work flexible hours. Successful writing test is mandatory.
Position will report to Senior Producer, 1010wins.com.
