1:15 p.m. ET – Twitter is back, at least for us. Were you able to cope for those 45 minutes or so?
12:40 p.m. ET – It’s not just you, Twitter is pretty much down across the board. While previous outages have invoked the fail whale, this time Twitter.com isn’t loading at all, Tweetdeck isn’t updating, the API isn’t responding and there’s very sporadic access via the mobile apps. However, you can still access Twitter via its mobile website. “Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue,” explains a short message on the Twitter status blog. We’ll update when there’s new information.
