Trailer Roundup: Peacock’s Queer as Folk, Netflix’s Halftime, Prime Video’s Fairfax Season 2

Today’s trailer roundup includes Queer as Folk from Peacock, Netflix’s Halftime, Prime Video’s Fairfax Season 2.

Queer as Folk premieres on Peacock June 9. It’s a reimagining of the British series created by Russell T. Davis, which is now set in New Orleans featuring a group of friends whose lives are transformed after a tragic event. The cast includes Devin Way, Fin Argus, JesseJames Keitel, CG, Johnny Sibilly, Ryan O’Connell with guest stars Kim Cattrall, Juliette Lewis, Ed Begley Jr., Amanda Fields, Nyle DiMarco and Chris Renfro.

The Netflix documentary Halftime features singer, dancer and actress Jennifer Lopez. The feature will take viewers behind the scenes from her Super Bowl Halftime show to her performance at the recent Presidential inauguration. Amanda Micheli directs. Halftime premieres on Netflix June 14.

Fairfax returns for a second season on Prime Video June 10. The irreverent animated series follows the misadventures of four middle schoolers out to earn their place in the culture. The cast includes Skyler Gisondo, Kiersey Clemons, Peter S. Kim, and Jaboukie Young-White.
