Trailer Roundup: HBO Max’s Hacks Season 2 and Made For Love Season 2, Showtime’s Ziwe, Peacock’s So Dumb It’s Criminal

Today’s new trailers include Showtime’s Ziwe, Peacock’s So Dumb It’s Criminal and the return of HBO Max’s Hacks and Made For Love.

Hacks is back for a second season, premiering May 12 on HBO Max with two episodes airing each week to conclude June 2. The critically acclaimed series stars Jean Smart as Deborah Vance, a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and Hannah Einbinder as Ava, a young entitled writer who travels across the country to workshop Deborah’s new stand-up act.

Returning cast members include Christopher McDonald, Kaitlin Olson, Paul W. Downs, Poppy Liu, Rose Abdoo, Mark Indelicato, Meg Stalter, Angela E. Gibbs, Luenell, Johnny Sibilly, Joe Mande, Ally Maki and Lorenza Izzo.

Laurie Metcalf, Martha Kelly, Ming-Na Wen, Susie Essman, Margaret Cho and Devon Sawa will be guest stars for Season 2.

Made For Love Season 2 will debut April 28 on HBO Max. Based on the novel by Alissa Nutting, Cristin Milioti stars as Hazel Green, a woman who goes on the run after finding out her tech billionaire husband, Byron Gogol (Billy Magnussen), has implanted a monitoring device–the Made For Love chip–in her brain. This allows him to track her and her “emotional data.” Unfortunately, hazel will have to return to her husband to save her father’s life in Season 2.

The series also stars Ray Romano, Dan Bakkendahl, Noma Dumezweni, Caleb Foote and Sarunas J. Jackson.

Ziwe Fumudoh brings more laughs and snark for Season 2 of her late-night variety series on Showtime. Ziwe will be available on streaming and video on demand for Showtime subscribers before making its on-air debut on May 1 at 11 p.m. EST. New episodes will drop every Friday on streaming and video on demand before airing on Sunday nights. Season 2 guests include Charlamagne Tha God, Chet Hanks, Emily Ratajkowski, Ilana Glazer, Hannibal Buress, Nicole Byer, Mia Kalifa, Adam Pally and Deux Moi, along with special appearances by Jane Krakowski and Luann de Lesseps.

Snoop Dogg hosts the new unscripted series So Dumb It’s Criminal, premiering on Peacock April 20. Series regular Tacarra Williams and some of today’s hottest comedians join Snoop Dogg to roast the world’s dumbest criminals using surveillance videos and crime clips. All eight episodes will be available to stream upon the show’s debut. Guest stars include Affion Crockett, Deon Cole, Deray Davis, Diallo Riddle, Godfrey, Lewis Belt, Loni Love, Moshe Kasher, Ron Funches and Russell Peters.
