Dark Winds, a noir thriller, comes to AMC and AMC+ on June 12. The series takes inspiration from the Leaphorn & Chee novels by Tony Hillerman, which take place in 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley. Dark Winds follows Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) of the Tribal Police and his new deputy, Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), as the two men battle the forces of evil and their own demons. The series will debut with two episodes on June 12 and include a new episode every Sunday on AMC and AMC+. Subscribers will also have advance access to an additional episode each week starting June 19.

Vince Calandra serves as showrunner, working alongside executive producers George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones), Robert Redford, Tina Elmo, Vince Gerardis and Chris Eyre.
