Top Tweeted Topics and Moments From the Debate

“I think my strongest asset, maybe by far, is my temperament. I have a winning temperament.” With that line, Donald Trump sparked the most Tweeted moment of the first presidential debate, held Monday night. Twitter Government (@gov) posted its findings shortly after the end of the debate:


The most re-tweeted tweet was one Donald Trump made in 2012. It was retweeted after Trump responded that he did not say climate change was a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese.


As for the most-Tweeted topics, people were the most chatty about the economy:

Finally, it was Donald Trump who, by far had the lion’s share of the Twitter conversation:
