Titans and Doom Patrol are coming to an end on HBO Max.

The two DC series will say goodbye after their respective fourth seasons.

“While these will be the final seasons of Titans and Doom Patrol, we are very proud of these series and excited for fans to see their climactic endings,” an HBO Max spokesperson told Deadline.

Newly appointed DC Studios CEO James Gunn took to Twitter to write: “The decision to end the series precedes us. But I certainly wish the best for the talented group of creators, actors, and the rest of the crew that produced both shows.”

Both shows aired their first two seasons on the DC Universe before moving to HBO Max for their final two.

Titans, which is based on the DC Comics superhero team the Teen Titans, features a group of youthful heroes who band together to battle evil. Doom Patrol centers on the unlikely heroes of the titular team, who all acquired their superhuman abilities through tragic events and are typically despised by society.

Titans and Doom Patrol join the growing list of shows canceled or scraped by HBO Max over the past six months.

Warner Bros. CFO Gunnar Wiedenfels said earlier this month that the days of axing shows and movies for tax write-offs are in the past, saying the company is “done with that chapter” and calling 2023 a year of “relaunching and building.
