The Boys Season 3 Trailer Teases Supe’d Up Butcher

By Jessica Lerner

Is Billy Butcher a bloody supe, as he’d put it?

It certainly seems like the tough-as-nails Brit, played by Keith Urban, took a swig of Compound V in the new trailer for The Boys’ Season 3, which Prime Video unveiled during SXSW.

The jam-packed spot, which includes plenty of guts, gunfire and superhero shenanigans, also gives fans their first look at some of the new additions to the series, including Supernatural vet Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, along with Crimson Countess (Laurie Holden) and Supersonic (formerly known as Drummer Boy, played by Miles Gaston Villanueva).

And if that’s not enough to entice you, the  teaser also sees Homelander (Antony Starr) trying to quell his rage, Hughie (Jack Quaid) breaking down at his new government job, A Train (Jessie Usher) doing a superhero-themed soda ad a la Kendall Jenner, The Deep (Chase Crawford) getting up close and personal with some aquatic animals and a cafeteria-set musical number starring Frenchie (Tomer Capone) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara).

Season 3 will debut June 3 on Prime Video, with three episodes dropping that day. The remaining episodes in the eight-episode third season will be released each Friday.
