The Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick plugs in to your USB port and can record HDTV right on to your hard drive. It’s about the size of a USB WiFi adapter. For $129, it beats the heck out of a $800 TiVo Series 3, and also claims to save directly to DVD, iPod or Sony PSP formats. And if you’re fortunate enough to live in an area with a decent signal, you can even grab it free over-the-air. I have not tried the product, but when it’s available for the Mac (which the company says is coming) I sure will.
