With most shows – scripted and reality – on hiatus, last week was a social TV week to forget. As we wrote about on Friday, though, there was some interesting competition between the network New Year’s Eve shows, and it will be interesting to watch how this battle evolves in coming years. No New Year’s host got people tweeting like Ryan Seacrest, who drove 328,000 tweets by 184,000 unique authors. Three other New Year’s programs also made this week’s Top 10. Interestingly, Fox News’s ‘Huckabee’ made the list – likely because he announced that he would be discontinuing his show to explore another presidential bid.
