For the beginning of June, there’s still some pretty decent social media action according to Nielsen Social. The Tony’s and The Bachelorette, of course, helped.
Most-Tweeted Minutes from the Top 3 Series and Specials:
- 9,100 tweets were sent at 8:49 p.m. ET on Sunday about The 70th Annual Tony Awards after Lin-Manuel Miranda won for Best Original Score.
- 2,900 tweets were sent at 10:01 p.m. ET on Tuesday about The Bachelorette following a preview of scenes for next week.
- 2,400 tweets were sent at 8:32 p.m. ET on Wednesday about 2016 CMT Music Awards as fans tweeted to vote for their favorite CMT Social Superstar of the year.
