Purple Hearts was the most streamed program for the week of August 1, according to Netflix’s Top 10 report.
The romantic drama, starring Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine, pulled in 102.59 million hours viewed as the top English-language program streamed and was on the Top 10 list in 93 countries. The Gray Man slipped to second place on the Top 10 Films list with 38,9 million hours viewed, followed by Uncharted, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, with 20.65 million hours viewed.
The Sandman: Season 1 debuted with 69.48 million hours viewed, making it the most streamed English-language TV program. Keep Breathing: Limited Series had 54.73 million hours viewed, and Virgin River came in third place with 46.93 million hours viewed.
In non-English TV programming, Extraordinary Attorney Woo: Season 1 took the No.1 spot for the fourth time with 67.01 million hours viewed. Another Self: Season 1 attracted 31.20 million hours viewed, and Pasión de Gavilanes: Season 2 had 29.73 million hours viewed.
The Korean action movie Carter was the most viewed non-English film with 27.3 million hours viewed, followed by Don’t Blame Karma! with 12.31 million hours viewed and the Argentinian mystery thriller Recurrence with 11.37 million hours viewed.
