Prime Video has announced that its interface is getting a redesign to enhance and evolve the user experience, making it simpler for users to explore Prime Video’s offerings and locate the content they love.

This week, Prime Video will begin to roll out the redesign within the Prime Video app on Android and connected living room devices such as Fire TV. Later this summer, all Prime Video subscribers can access this enhanced experience on these devices, with iOS and web to follow.

Customers can browse and locate what they’re looking for fast and efficiently, thanks to Amazon’s newly revamped, accessible primary navigation menu.

When it first launches, the app will have six main pages: Home, Store, Find, Live, Free with advertisements and My Stuff. Additionally, sub-navigation choices will be available for customers to browse more quickly by the content or offer type, such as “Movies” or “TV series” on the Home page and “Channels” or “Rent or Buy” on the Store page.

It will also be easier to watch sports under the “Sport” sub-navigation menu on the Home page, while the new Live TV page functions as a hub for streaming stations, including live sports and events.

Additionally, the app has brand-new carousels that allow viewers to choose content to stream fast while presenting movies with richer, more cinematic imagery.

Customers can now find it simpler to distinguish between content that is included with their Prime membership and content that must be purchased due to the new design elements.

The revised “Find” page streamlines the search process by allowing users to look up a specific title or explore several genres and collections. In addition, they can filter search results by genre or 4k UHD, and search suggestions display the new visual signals in search results, making it obvious which videos are included for you and which ones are available to rent, buy or subscribe to.
