A childhood classic is getting the CGI treatment.

Peacock has announced a CGI reboot of Caillou, the classic 1997 animated series of the same name.

The titular 4-year-old will be the center of the series as he navigates complex issues and intense emotions by visualizing himself, his family and his friends as characters in exhilarating make-believe adventures based on his favorite toys and books.

The streamer has also picked up the rights to five 44-minute Caillou event specials, focusing on significant childhood occasions.

Along with Caillou, Peacock has also added L’il Stompers to its original kids programming slate.

The show centers on a cute group of plush dinosaurs who are curious about their surroundings and looking for adventure. As they tackle difficult subjects in a soft environment, our beautiful pals help one another.

These new titles join a robust collection of Peacock original kids offerings, including the previously announced Press Start!, Team Mekbots Animal Rescue, Dinopops, The Makery and Of Babble Bop! Season 2. Peacock original kids programming will roll out monthly beginning in 2023.
