‘Now This News’ added to next week’s Lost Remote Show in NYC

By Cory Bergman

We’ve made a great last-minute addition to next week’s Lost Remote Show, which already has a stellar lineup of social TV execs. New York startup Now This News is building the first mobile-social video news company from the ground up, and we’ll be dedicating 30 minutes to get an inside look (and see some of the best clips they’ve produced so far).

Managing editor Katharine Zaleski (formerly WaPo/HuffPo/CNN) will join social editor Drake Martinet (formerly AllThingsD) to talk about how Now This News is reaching new audiences by focusing on a mobile-first, social-centric strategy. Now This News is one of the most-watched startups in the media space today, and Zaleski and Martinet are part of an all-star startup team that includes former CNN chief Eason Jordan and former ABC News Digital exec Ed O’Keefe.
