TV Guide might just be something you flip through in the supermarket, but that could change with new updates to their app today. The new app features an enhanced TV listings, photo galleries, news, and Watchlists, a personalized guide where users can save and organize their sports and shows and figure out where to watch them, whether its on TV, on-demand, or streaming. Some other features:
- Trending Tonight – an up-to-the-minute view of the night’s top shows determined by users’ activity on the site and mobile apps
- New Tonight – find out what time and channel shows are on and access quick episode summaries
- Video Search – Easily find TV shows, movies and web originals and where to watch them
The TV guide app has over 14 million downloads. The average user visits about 14 times a month and they report that 90 percent of users compile lists and use them to make decisions about what to watch, where. The app is available on Apple Watch and all other Apple devices.
