One week after coming in second place, the David E. Kelley legal drama Lincoln Lawyer knocked Ozark out from the No.1 spot as the most streamed program for the week of May 16, according to Nielsen’s Top 10 streaming report.
Lincoln Lawyer pulled in 1.85 billion minutes viewed for Netflix, with the majority of the viewing audience being 65 and older. A typical audience for a broadcast drama, less so for a traditional Netflix offering. Ozark came in second place with 1.08 billion viewing minutes and in third place, Rebel Wilson’s comedy Senior Year.
Two weeks before its Season 4 debut, Netflix’s Stranger Things made its way back to the Top 10 Originals chart with 378 million viewing minutes during the week of May 16.
Netflix is home to the 10-most-streamed programs of the week, per Nielsen.
In children’s programming, Netflix’s Cocomelon was the fourth most-streamed program and was also the most-streamed on the Nielsen Top 10 Streaming Acquired Programs chart with 682 million minutes-viewed. Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers pulled in 594 million viewing minutes as the fifth most streamed program and was also No.2 on the Top 10 Streaming Movies list.
On the film front, Senior Year was the most streamed movie, followed by Disney+’s Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers and in third place, The Perfect Pairing, the romantic comedy starring Victoria Justice and Adam Demos with 442 million viewing minutes.
