Netflix is busy adding original content to its archives. This week, they announced that they’ll make a season two for Daredevil, a Full House revival, and Aziz Ansari is filming a ten episode sitcom with Michael Shur. While there’s lots of enthusiasms for them all. Full House wins for taking over Twitter this week. Aziz’s fans are a little more mellow:
this is going to be so good, I am so sure of it. http://t.co/sbowuGzTv5

It’s not a horrible idea. People want reboots of all of their favorite shows, but that’s probably a side effect of binge-watching. It’s hard to know what to do with yourself when your favorite show ends. But there’s also something to be said for guaranteed hits, or at least guaranteed social engagement with content. When FOX announced that the X-Files might be coming back last month, it’s mainly because so many people were streaming it on Netflix and talking about it elsewhere. There’s an audience for nostalgia.
Full House and Uncle Jesse fans just can’t contain their excitement. But there’s already a cult following re-imagining how the nineties sitcom could be better. And everything that could go wrong:
If David Lynch is directing the Netflix reboot of Full House we’re interested

What if I wrote a think piece about how *today’s society* cannot handle “Full House” and then just turned to dust?

A lot can go wrong, like what if Bob Saget is allowed to be himself on the streaming service?
