Netflix is introducing its new Category Hub in the TV menu to make it easier for subscribers to search their favorite genres and discover new films, series and specials in one spot.
Users will be able to discover this hub in the left-hand menu on both adult and child profiles starting today, where they will get tailored Top 3 categories depending on what they like to watch regularly. This feature also includes curated collections for local holidays such as Earth Day and International Women’s Day. There are also globally popular genres like anime, drama and children and family for when viewers want something new.
The streamer encourages customers to think about its Category Hub as a livelier version of its old categories row, which is suited to viewers’ preferences and simplifies the process of choosing something to watch.
Netflix officials anticipate that this new tool will make it easier for consumers to identify and explore new genres in their favorite categories.
