NBC Partners With LittleThings for Video Series

You’ve probably already seen content from LittleThings skimming through one of your various newsfeeds — it’s one of the fastest growing media properties and according to comScore’s September reports it drives over 45 million uniques, and they launched in 2014. Like anything drawing that many eyeballs, it’s time to start sharing the love. Recently, LittleThings has leveraged its content, short articles and videos covering lifehacks and viral news, into partnerships with major networks. Both NBC and AOL have partnered with LittleThings to redistribute content on their own properties.

NBC’s added LittleThings content to its Today pages — with pieces on how to use red lipstick to fix bags under your eyes or a begging-to-be shared viral video about a son surprising his mom. AOL, on the other hand, repurposes LittleThings content into something that looks like its own.

DIY, lifehacks and digging up those viral moments is a strategy that’s working for many media properties. As television networks start migrating to apps on smart TVs, they need all the content they can get. Think about it: NBC could have your attention when you google “how to boil an egg” from your living room. But really, you should know how to do that.
