While the ratings war between ‘TODAY’ and ‘Good Morning America’ is certainly more important, there is also a heated social battle taking place between the two shows: ‘TODAY’ has 4.37 million Facebook likes and 2.67 million Twitter followers; ‘Good Morning America,’ meanwhile, has 4.15 million Facebook likes and 2.58 million Twitter followers. There is no doubt these numbers are being closely followed by executives for both shows.
Good thing ‘TODAY’ has Kathie Lee and Hoda, though. The formidable duo – which has its own mini show on ‘TODAY’ – just reached 1 million likes on their dedicated Facebook page. In Kathie Lee and Hoda fashion, they celebrated the special “Winesday Wednesday” in style, posting a stop-motion video:
