The Jason Momoa-led post-apocalyptic series See will end with Season 3.

The eight-episode third and final season will debut globally Friday, Aug. 26, on Apple TV+. New episodes will drop weekly, every Friday.

“We are thrilled to share this epic final chapter of See which delivers all the intense drama, riveting action and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, as well as what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story,” See showrunner and ep Jonathan Tropper said in a statement.

“Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and continuous challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera,” Tropper continued.

Hundreds of years after humanity lost its vision, the world of See is a harsh and primal place. Season 3 picks up over a year after Baba Voss (Momoa) vanquished his archenemy brother Edo and left his family behind to live alone in the forest. However, Baba returns to Paya in order to defend his people once more when a Trivantian scientist creates a new and terrifying form of sighted weaponry that puts the future of humanity in danger.

Starring alongside Momoa in the third season are Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Tom Mison, Olivia Cheng, Eden Epstein, Michael Raymond-James, David Hewlett and Trieste Kelly Dunn.
