Brief Description of Duties
The ideal candidate will have extensive contacts within online advertisers and agencies to forge new business development. Responsibilities include achieving overall internet sales revenue goals, valuation and management of inventory, motivating, coaching and developing a team of Account Executives charged with prospecting, identifying customer needs, crafting solutions, negotiating and closing contracts. Will work closely with the Director of Digital Media on business development projects including content partnerships. The Internet Sales Manager must be extremely partner focused, proactive, innovative, and work effectively within an integrated sales management team environment that includes broadcast television stations and a regional cable network. Must also be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities.
Qualifications
College degree with minimum five years media and management experience preferred, strong creative, interpersonal and leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience of the evolving interactive media businesses and multi media platforms.
