The HuffPo has relaunched its New York local vertical with expanded city guide coverage and features. “Starting today, we’re going to be adding more elements that will help make HuffPost New York a go-to guide to what’s going on all over town,” writes Arianna Huffington. “We’ll have more coverage of restaurants, culture and entertainment, real estate, local events, and shopping deals.”
The relaunched section includes content from Thrillist, photos from around town, and daily deals from Groupon and Gilt.
Huffington Post also has local verticals in LA, Chicago and Denver. Back in March, Huffington said they were reconsidering their local expansion. No word if/when the new “guide” approach will extend to the other cities.
