How I Caught My Killer and 3 Other Trailers You Missed

Today’s trailer roundup includes Hulu’s How I Caught My Killer, Koala Man, Prime Video’s The Consultant and Netflix’s Princess Power.

How I Caught My Killer streams on Hulu on Jan. 12. Experts recreate the real-life stories behind unique homicide cases with in-depth interviews, authentic archival material and cinematic adaptations of the events to show how exactly each killer was caught. Each case details a complex portrait of a victim whose life was cut short by a killer who would have escaped justice if it hadn’t been for the victim’s own actions.

Koala Man premieres on Hulu on Jan. 9. The animated series follows middle-aged dad Kevin and his titular not-so-secret identity, whose only superpower is a burning passion for following rules and snuffing out petty crime in the town on Dapto. Voice cast includes Michael Cusack, Sarah Snook, Demi Lardner. Guest voices include Hugh Jackman, Jemaine Clement, Rachel House, Hugo Weaving and Jarrad Wright.

Based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel of the same name, The Consultant comes to Prime Video on Feb. 24. When a new consultant, Regus Patoff (Christoph Waltz), is hired to improve the business at the app-based gaming company CompWare, employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question.

Princess Power premieres on Netflix on Jan. 30. The animated preschool series is based on the New York Times bestselling series Princesses Wear Pants by Savannah Guthrie and Allison Oppenheim, following four princesses of four major fruit kingdoms: Kira Kiwi, Beatrice Blueberry, Rita Raspberry and Penelope Pineapple.
