All the Films and Shows HBO Max Quietly Removed [Updated]

By Jessica Lerner

HBO Max continues to quietly pull more content from its streaming library.

Along with the six Warner Bros. films the streaming service pulled over the past few weeks, we have since learned the streamer has removed more titles from its library than we first thought. And apparently, more cuts are coming as Warner Bros. Discovery plans to merge its two streaming services–HBO Max and Discovery+–by the summer of 2023, according to IndieWire.

“The content being targeted for removal tends to be shows and movies that are not performing on the service but have an opportunity for a partial write-off,” according to the news outlet.

Typically HBO Max releases monthly updates about titles being removed, but none of the removed content was included in recent announcements.

In response to complaints over the removed content, the streamer’s Twitter support feed has stated: “As we work to bring together HBO Max and Discovery+, we’re making some changes to our services. Part of that process includes the removal of select content.”

The following shows and films are the removed “select content” from HBO Max’s library, according to Vulture and TVLine (though some are still available for cable users on HBO On Demand). Check back for updates.
