John Oliver explored the Fashion industry this week, and even though we all know about the awful ways certain big brands manufacture their clothing, he points out a few other need-to-knows that might make you think twice before buying a $5.00 t-shirt.

Amy Schumer is finally getting some quality recognition with her Comedy Central show ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ this year. I’ve always loved her stand-up, but it was definitely on the border of ‘acceptable for society’ and ‘highly NSFW’. As people’s thresholds for what’s okay expand, her edgy comedy seems to be gaining popularity. This is her latest skit, showing that her success and style of comedy revolves mainly around poking fun at herself.

Finally, The White House Correspondents Dinner was held this week and there was more comedy than politics. Cecily Strong from SNL was absolutely hilarious. Some of her jokes weren’t received very well by everyone, for example. ‘Obama, your hair is so white now, it can talk back to the police.’ But overall, she had everyone laughing for her entire ‘set’. I’ve got to say, this was better than any of her SNL skits.
