Job Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to:
participation in daily story and production conferences with key
newsroom personnel to achieve optimum balance and quality in content
and presentation; review of scripts and visual material; participate
with the news director in the preparation of critiques of individual
and departmental performance and to participate with the news
director in the guidance and direction of all personnel to achieve a
uniform consistent high quality professional on-air presentation;
participate as producer of a daily newscast and may serve as
substitute producer in the absence of regularly assigned
producer(s).
Experience Requirements: To work with us, you;ll need a College
education with five years experience as a news producer. Management
experience preferred. Computer experience with BASYS preferred.
Knowledge of journalism, television operations, copy editing and
television producer skills required.
