E! Announces 5 New Shows, All for Facebook Live

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 1.22.06 PME! News is going hard this fall with a new set of shows all livestreaming on Facebook Live, all the time. Starting on Aug. 8 with TVTherapy, a new show will premiere every night of the week, so millennials will have something to watch on the daily, Monday through Friday. The shows will also be formatted for Periscope and YouTube come fall.

“Expanding the Facebook Live slate was a natural fit given the success of “Live From E!,” and by extending the shows to other platforms, we are able to successfully reach our millennial audience on their preferred screen in the most high-traffic times,” John Najarian, executive vice president and general manager of E! News and Digital said. He added, “our state-of-the-art, in-house facilities give us the ability to quickly develop and produce high quality live programming, something not many content providers can do, allowing us to offer unique opportunities for organic partnerships with advertisers and ensuring that we are delivering on our brand promise to create the best-in-class pop culture content across all platforms for every user.”

Mondays (starting Aug. 8):

TV Therapy: Hosted by TV Scoop’s own Tierney Bricker, the series will discuss the most insane and viral take-away moments from the past week’s buzziest shows.

Tuesdays (starting Aug. 16):

So True, So False: One of E! News’ most popular segments goes live on Facebook.

Wednesdays (starting Aug. 24):

State Your Case: A face-off debate on the hot pop culture topic of the week.

Thursdays (starting Sept. 1):

Another 15 Minutes: A nostalgic look back at the completely hilarious, or sometimes just ridiculous, viral video moments and reality show stars from the past.

Fridays (starting Sept. 8):

E! News Week-cap: A recap daily entertainment and pop culture news.
