Today’s trailer round-up includes Disney+’s Willow, Netflix’s Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey, Web of Make Believe – Death, Lies & The Internet and Snowflake Mountain.
Disney+’s Willow, based on the 1988 Ron Howard film, will premiere on November 30. Warwick Davis returns as the kind-hearted and powerful sorcerer Willow Ufgood, who is off on a new adventure to balance the scale between good and evil.
Directed by award-winning director Rachel Dretzin, Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey premieres on Netflix on June 8. The four-part documentary gives viewers an in-depth look into the secretive polygamous sect of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS) and the rise of Warren Jeffs. In addition, it will feature archival footage and personal stories from women and men who escaped FLDS.
Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies & The Internet premieres June 15. The six-part docuseries tells the stories of people caught in a dark web of digital misinformation and deception. Stories include an online gamer who makes a series of fraudulent 911 calls to lure SWAT teams to innocent people’s homes and several women who were subject to virtual blackmail by a man looking to obtain sensitive sexual material.
Snowflake Mountain drops on June 22 on Netflix. The reality show takes a group of young adults to a wilderness survival retreat with no running water or wifi to kickstart them into being more responsible. At stake is a cash prize for the winner.
