Disney+ Day Features Surprise BTS Concert, Andor Sneak Peek

Disney+ Day has kicked off with the surprise release of the concert film BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage–LA on the streamer.

The concert of the world-famous K-pop supergroup, which was released at midnight, showcases the live performances of the BTS concerts held at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium in late 2021.

Another surprise featured a sneak peek at the upcoming Star Wars series Andor on Disney+. The series tells the story of the escalating rebellion against the Empire and how individuals and planets got involved. In this period of danger, deceit and intrigue, Cassian (Diego Luna) will start down the path that will eventually make him a rebel hero.

Previously announced Disney+ Day content includes the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, Pinocchio, a new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Cars on the Road, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, Remembering, Growing Up, Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances, Tierra Incógnita, Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder, the Frozen and Frozen 2 Sing-Alongs and Welcome to the Club, a new short from The Simpsons.

The company is also offering Disney+ for $1.99 for one month for both new and returning customers through Sept. 19.

Other perks for Disney+ Day include special access to shopDisney merchandise, Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World Resort deals, a six-month free trial to National Geographic Digital, six months free of Uber One, Disney Movie Insiders Bonus Points, Disney Parks early entry and Disney+ fan-favorite screenings at select AMC Theatres.
