Disney+ Day Returns in September

Disney+ Day will return this year on Thursday, Sept. 8, setting the table for the D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Calif., on Sept. 9.

On Disney+ Day, the streaming service will host special events for fans and subscribers, including premiering the all-new live-action Pinocchio, a retelling of the classic tale featuring a wooden puppet who just wants to become a real boy.

The cast includes Tom Hanks (as Geppetto), Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (as Pinocchio), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Jiminy Cricket), Cynthia Erivo (as the Blue Fairy), Keegan-Michael Key (as “Honest” John), Lorraine Bracco (as Sofia the Seagull) and Luke Evans (as The Coachman).

In the coming months, Disney will announce more Disney+ Day premieres.

Disney+ Day, which launched in 2021, is an annual celebration of the Disney+ global community that includes content debuts from the streaming service’s marquee brands, exclusive experiences and subscription deals.
