This position is an integral part of the newly-formed Digital
division of Schurz Communications, Inc. This position reports to the
Vice President of Digital Media and will work with all existing
newspapers, TV, radio and cable properties to increase revenue from
the digital media businesses at the local level. The successful
candidate will manage at least two direct report sales personnel.
The candidate will communicate corporate advertising strategy to his
or her sales team, the local digital sales person and the traditional
product sales team and management at all SCI properties. The
candidate will work closely with the Vice President of Digital Media
to develop sales strategies that will meet revenue and strategic
goals. This position will play an integral part in meeting the
corporate SCI digital media initiatives, with a specialization in
growing digital media revenue. The position will be responsible for
any other duties assigned as required to meet all goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a four-year degree in business or related field, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of five years digital media sales and advertising
experience, preferred. Alternatively, demonstrable record of
successful web based sales and traditional media sales.

• Minimum of three years managing and leading personnel.

• Prior experience in developing pricing strategies for digital
media revenue growth.

• Ability to travel up to three-quarters of the time to work with
all SCI locations.
