Director of Human Resources, req #010-07

Position Statement:

Provide overall strategic HR leadership to the company. Oversee the
development and implementation of human resources policies, programs
and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, legal
compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment
practices and procedures, employee communications and employee
events. Foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and
mission outlined by the leadership of company.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Business Perspectives-

· Work with the President, CEO, and CFO to define the human
resources’ goals and objectives in strategic and tactical
management planning from the perspective of the impact on people.

· Translate the strategic and tactical plans into HR strategic and
operational plans.

· Develop HR company policies and objectives.

· Establish credibility throughout the organization and generate
alliances that enable the human resources function to design and
deliver appropriate services to its customers.

Talent Management and Development-

· Serve as internal consultant to company management team,
supervisors and employees on personnel issues that affect performance
and business relationships.

· Select, develop, evaluate and lead a team of human resource
professionals with a goal of earning a high level of credibility as
an effective and responsive internal consulting group.

· Promote culture philosophy throughout customer base to support a
positive corporate culture.

· Coordinate team development efforts and participate in employee
activities to further develop employee/company relationships.

· Consult with business partners on performance feedback management
systems and processes. Consult and coach managers/supervisors on
handling employee performance issues.

Human Resource Management-

· Evaluate and advise on the impact new programs/strategies will
have on people resources of the organization.

· Partner with a talent acquisition team to oversee that the
recruitment process is consistent with company philosophies and
established practices.

· Assist with filling open positions. Partner with talent
acquisition to roll out staffing initiatives and communicate staffing
activities. Facilitate placement, transfer, and promotion and exit
interview activity.

Organization Design, Development and Effectiveness-

· Facilitate the design of structures and reporting relationships
that match organizational strategies and goals.

· Build and help foster an atmosphere of trust throughout the
organization so that credibility, respect and fairness are endemic to
Internet Broadcasting Systems’ culture, bringing pride in work and
organization by all and camaraderie amount all employees.

· Perform appropriate work analysis and redesign to establish clear
standards for excellent performance.

· Drive process definition, simplification and integration efforts
throughout the organization.

· Try to make Internet Broadcasting Systems a community not just a
workplace.

Qualifications & Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required:

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Human Resources
required.

· Minimum of three years at the senior level management or executive
level in which the candidate has been responsible for functional and
strategic aspects of HR, leadership and organizational development,
training and development and management of HR staff.

· Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business
Administration, HR, HRD or Organizational Development preferred.

· Professional certification at SPHR level required.

· Superior oral and written communication skills.

· Well-developed leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Strong strategic thinker and ability to translate strategy into
action.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Strong planning and decision-making skills.

· Demonstrated success as a team player, able to interface and
maintain effective relationships with all department heads and
employees in a team-oriented environment.

· Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and
requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven
environment.

· Prior experience working within a technology organization,
preferably an Internet company.
