Job description:

We are seeking a Content Manager to oversee our editorial
partnerships for the following formats: Sports, Talk and Music. The
position, based in New York City, will report to the Vice President
of Operations, CBS RADIO Digital Media Group.

Responsibilities:

The Content Manager – Partnerships will coordinate national content
relationships across the network of websites and work with the
stations on regional content partnerships. This position will also
review site activity and make recommendations for improvement.
Primary functions:

Manage content partnerships across multiple radio formats (i.e. talk,
sports, music)

Identify potential partners and develop rollout plan on a national
and local level

Work with technology team to develop technical execution specs

Work with station web producers to improve user experience

Train producers on Search Engine Optimization

Monitor best practices across the group

Work with other Content Managers on cross-format content syndication

Analyze site traffic patterns to identify trends

Requirements:

The hands-on requirements for this position will require outstanding
analytical and communication skills. This position will work very
closely with the local stations as well as vendors. Must be able to
work efficiently under tight deadlines. Travel may be required. This
is not a traditional 9-5 position. Evening, weekend and holiday work
may be required.

In-depth knowledge and interest in online content development

Working knowledge of web-publishing technologies

3 to 5 years of online content production experience

Must be familiar with website analytics and traffic patterns

Exceptional organizational skills and exhibit leadership qualities

Local TV and/or radio experience preferred

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA a plus.
