CNBC’s ‘Binge’ Series Examines Content Industry

By Karen Fratti

What’s more meta than a new digital series about binge-watching digital content? Maybe nothing, but it should be interesting. On June 6, CNBC is releasing Binge, hosted by Carl Quintanilla, which is all about content. He’ll be talking to industry leaders and thinkers, content creators, examining and talking about all things content. He’ll also look at the effect of social media and how social sharing affects the success of video and TV.

Quintilla said in a statement,”It’s probably the most exciting time in media since the mass adoption of TV.At work or with friends, people always ask, ‘What are you binge-watching?’ And with this new series, Binge, we want to help viewers understand this new era through the eyes of those making the content. For TV junkies and film buffs, this is the conversation you always wanted to have.
