Beavis and Butt-Head are back, or they will be very soon.

Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head will premiere on Aug. 4 on Paramount+.

The streamer also released a trailer for the series, which promised that Beavis and Butt-Head are dumber than ever. Examples of their idiocy include getting stuck on a roof, being swarmed by bees and a calamity with a fishing hook, to name a few.

The ’90s pop-culture phenomenon returns “to confound common sense, torment each other, and showcase some of the dumbest comedy imaginable,” per the synopsis.

The original Beavis and Butt-Head ran for seven seasons from 1993 to 1998 on MTV’s animation showcase Liquid Television and was revived for an eighth season on MTV in 2011. Unfortunately, it got canceled again following the season’s conclusion. In 2020, it was announced Beavis and Butt-Head would return for a two-season order at Comedy Central.

The series will see Beavis and Butt-Head enter a “whole new Gen Z universe,” with meta-themes relatable to both new and old fans alike.

“Beavis and Butt-Head were defining voices of a generation, and to this day, the show is one of the most well-known and beloved animated IPs of all time,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios, previously said. “Mike Judge has reimagined this dynamic duo in a way that is sure to have both old fans and new ones alike laughing out loud—and we couldn’t be more excited to bring them back.”
