Barrier to recording movies onto DVDs may be removed

One of the roadblocks in the way of allowing people to download movies and burn them onto DVDs may be getting nudged out of the way. The DVD Copy Control Association (A joint operation of Hollywood studios) is getting ready to change its policy on the CSS – Content Scramble System – software that blocks us from legally burning video downloads into the recognizable DVD format.
