Armie Hammer Documentary Premieres Sept. 2 on Discovery+

By Rebecca Theodore-Vachon

House of Hammer comes to Discovery+ on September 2.

The three-part docuseries chronicles the dark and troubling accusations made against actor Armie Hammer. In 2021, several women came forward with disturbing stories of bondage, cannibalism fantasies and more, rocking Hollywood and his fans to their core. House of Hammer goes back to 2020, right at the peak of Hammer’s rise to A-list status.

Each episode will highlight a pattern of abuse that goes far beyond the accusations bought against Hammer. The docuseries will include exclusive revelations from his aunt, Casey Hammer, and multiple survivors of his alleged abuse, taking viewers inside the Hammer family’s dark power plays from political manipulation and financial fraud to accusations of violence and abuse.

Jason Sarlanis, President of Crime and Investigative Content, Linear and Streaming said the accusations of rape and abuse brought against the disgraced actor are just the tip of the iceberg. “With House of Hammer, we witness truly disturbing details and sinister secrets that money and power couldn’t hide forever. This documentary provides an important platform for the incredibly courageous women who came forward to share their stories, and we hope their courage inspires others to continue meaningful conversations around abuse in our society,” Sarlanis said in a statement.

House of Hammer is directed by Elli Hakami and Julian P. Hobbs.
